Shop Handmade and Celebrate Mom this Saturday at the Made in Iowa Mother’s Day Market
Cedar Rapids, IA – April 29, 2025 – This Saturday promises an unforgettable shopping event that’s like a farmers market but so much more! 150 vendors from 70 Iowa towns will be at the Made in Iowa Mother’s Day Market on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hawkeye Downs Expo Center, located at 4400 6th St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
This vibrant indoor market offers a delightful mix of from-the-farm staples such as beef, pork, honey and baked goods as well as hundreds of handmade items, delicious treats, unique crafts, and one-of-a-kind art, making it the perfect place to find a special gift for Mom.
Shoppers can explore a wide array of offerings, from natural body care products and home décor to locally made food, candles, jewelry, and more.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, local favorite Tom Nothnagle will provide beautiful live classical guitar music throughout the day, creating a warm and inviting backdrop for your shopping experience.
We’re also proud to welcome the Cedar Rapids Concert Chorale as our non-profit partner for this event. Members of the Chorale will be onsite volunteering and supporting the day’s activities, adding to the community spirit of the market.
